Mrs Hardiman

Despite plans and paperwork relating to alterations being made to No. 9 Elliot Street in 1910 by a Mrs Hardiman, it would seem that this lady, Eugenie Lydia Hardiman actually lived at No's 18, 19 and 20 Elliot Street at that time and was a Hotel Proprietress, her property being known as Hoe Mansion.

It is not clear whether Mrs Hardiman had any connection with No. 9 Elliot Street or whether this was merely recorded in error on the plans, etc.  However, she is recorded in a street directory of 1912 as living at No. 9.
